Xintu Africa is the responsible party for the personal information described here, as that term is used in the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. We collect these because we cannot deliver a cap or tell you where it is without them. That is the whole reason.

We keep a record of what you ordered and what you paid, because the law requires us to keep tax records and because you may want to return something.

Card details never touch this website. Payment happens on PayFast's own hosted page. We receive only a payment reference and confirmation that the amount was paid. We never see, store or process your card number.

Our courier gets your name, address and phone number so they can deliver. Our email provider sends your order confirmation. Our hosting and database providers store the order. Nobody else. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

We do not add you to a mailing list because you bought a cap. You will only ever get marketing email from us if you explicitly asked for it, and every one of those has an unsubscribe link.

Order records are kept for five years to meet SARS record-keeping requirements. After that they are deleted.

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Email us and we will do it. You may also complain to the Information Regulator.

Your cart is stored in your own browser, not on our servers, and holds only product references and quantities. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
